Plot
The episode opens with a boy running through the streets of Winterfell, trying to get a glimpse of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and her army, which has just arrived at the castle. He climbs a tree and watches as Dany, Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), and others arrive at Winterfell. Then there’s a reunion of some of the main characters who haven’t seen each other in years. Jon Snow and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) have a heartwarming reunion, as do Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage). Also, Jon reunites with Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright), who has become the Three-Eyed Raven.
After the reunions, we see a small council meeting where they discuss the threat of the White Walkers, who have breached the Wall and are heading towards Winterfell. Everyone agrees that the priority is to prepare for the battle that is to come.
