In this episode, titled "Eastwatch," we see Daenerys Targaryen take matters into her own hands and attack the Lannister army head-on. At the end of the previous episode, we saw Jaime Lannister and his army successfully take Highgarden and seize all of the Tyrell's gold. In "Eastwatch," we see the Lannisters traveling back to King's Landing with their newfound wealth. However, their journey is interrupted by Daenerys and her dragons.

Daenerys, riding on the back of Drogon, rains fire down on the Lannister army and decimates a large portion of their forces. The Dothraki then charge in and engage the remaining Lannister soldiers in close combat. The battle is brutal and intense, and we see many of the soldiers on both sides perish. However, Daenerys emerges victorious and takes many of the Lannisters as prisoners of war, including Randyll and Dickon Tarly.

The Starks Reunite

In Winterfell, we see the Stark siblings come together for the first time since the very beginning of the show. Arya returns to Winterfell and is reunited with Sansa and Bran. However, their reunion is not entirely happy, as Arya is suspicious of Sansa's loyalty and accuses her of wanting to take control of the North. Sansa, in turn, is worried about Arya's violent tendencies and wonders if she can be trusted. Bran, who has now become the Three-Eyed Raven, doesn't do much to ease the tension and seems to be more interested in looking into the past than dealing with the present.

Jorah Mormont Returns

Also in this episode, we see the return of Jorah Mormont. Samwell Tarly has been trying to cure Jorah of his greyscale, and it seems that he has finally succeeded. Jorah is reunited with Daenerys, and she is overjoyed to see him alive and well. It is clear that there is still a strong bond between these two characters.

Finally, we have Jon Snow and his team beyond the Wall. They encounter the Brotherhood Without Banners and manage to convince them to join their mission. Together, they venture deeper into the wilderness and eventually come across a group of white walkers and wights. They manage to capture one of the wights and begin their journey back to King's Landing.

Overall, "Eastwatch" was an action-packed episode with plenty of surprises and plot twists. It set the stage for what is sure to be an incredible season finale, and we can't wait to see what happens next.
